or visit the historical ghost town of Denniston and see how hard life was for our early pioneers.
Discover relics of the past, follow the trails on the Mt. William Range, find coal on top of the mountain and enjoy stunning views of the coast.
Visit the seal colony at Tauranga bay, and take a walk along the cliff top trail at the cape foul wind lighthouse, or try some surfing in the bay. Lots of beautiful bush walks in the area, and mountain biking on the old ghost road. We also have a great golf course at carters beach, a new swimming and sports complex, and cinema in town . For the adventurer, try underground caving and rafting in Charleston, where you can float through the cavern, and see the stunning diplay of the glow worms.
